Poole Harbour Boat Show – The biggest-ever free to attend boat show on the South Coast

by | May 23, 2019

Over 30,000 people are expected to be in attendance at the fifth annual Poole Harbour Boat Show that is set to take place in early June.

The event, which is located at the award winning Poole Quay Boat Haven, is the biggest-ever free to attend boat show on the South Coast of Britain, and is running from the 7th – 9th June.

The three days of fun will feature a huge showcase of boats on display from yachts and motor cruisers, to tall ships and RIBs. There will also be a number of other stalls including those selling marine equipment, water sports gear, and clothing.

As usual, there will be a number of taster sessions taking place, along with live music, fireworks, and plenty of other fun activities for people of all ages.

There will be a number of waterborne demonstrations, with a number of displays from the RNLI, Border Force, and Poole Harbour Commissioners. These organisations will be showing what their work involves on a day-to-day basis in demonstrations designed for the whole family.

The RYA will also be in attendance, with their experts offering all the information you need to get out on-the-water this summer. There will also be a chance for attendees to try their hand at sailing, book themselves onto training courses, or simply learn more about RYA membership.

The RYA stand (ER28) is situated in the East Quay area, and is in front of the Thistle Hotel.

As well as being able to try your hand at sailing, you can also have a go at powerboating, kayaking, and paddleboarding, if you take part in a number of free taster sessions.
