The FB277 – The First of Three Enormous Yachts to be Unveiled by Benetti in 2019.
You should all be pretty familiar with the name Benetti by now – the Italian yacht manufacturer has been producing market leading vessels for more than 140 years. For 2019, Benetti is planning a triple release within the first few months, in an attempt to dominate the headlines as well as the market. The first of those three yachts
To put its size into context, this is the largest vessel to ever be built in an Italian shipyard and of course, it comes packed with luxury features to reciprocate the size. It looks absolutely stunning from the exterior which has been elegantly stretched and sharpened at the edges – giving it a contemporary and striking design. This is accompanied by a robust hull and bow that’ll confidently sail in the toughest of storms out on the ocean. If you’re living an even more lavish lifestyle then you can enter and exit via helicopter, landing on the large, purpose-built helipad. The exterior is finished off with gorgeous glazing all around, a swimming pool. Multiple balconies, sun decks and lounging areas. The vessel will be powered by a diesel/electric propulsion system; a far more economical way to operate.

Inside, things start to get really interesting. One exceptional master cabin with bedroom, port and starboard balconies, dressing rooms, a spacious bathroom is found on the upper deck. Also on this deck is a grand piano and cinema area. There are a further 7 VIP cabins on the main deck each coming with an en-suite bathroom. This takes the guest capacity to 16; you’ll rarely find a vessel more accommodating. A dining room and saloon bar, as well as further sleeping cabins for a crew, are on the two lower decks. To top it all off there’s a fully equipped gym and a spa with hammam and massage rooms – taking care of all your health needs.
The release of the FB277 has been many years in the making which has meant millions of pounds of renovation to the shipyard in Livorno. As mentioned before, there are two more of these so-called ‘Gigayachts’ to be released before Summer arrives, each one just as impressive as the last, each one over 100 metres long. We’ll look forward to seeing what Benetti have to offer with their next two releases, but for now, we’re going to sit back and enjoy this one!
