The Princess V60 – Ready for Launch in January 2019.

by | Nov 28, 2018

Plymouth-based yacht manufacturer Princess has been an international force in the bespoke construction industry for more than 50 years, making it one of the most popular brands in existence. Because of that, a new Princess release is always highly anticipated by the entire boating community. In January 2019, the all-new V60 vessel will be debuted at the Dusseldorf Boat Show. Once again, there’s plenty to be excited about.

One of the main focuses here is the smooth, edge-free design that’s a perfect example of the way modern vessels are progressing for the near future. These curves give the V60 a very attractive figure externally, but they also continue through to the interior, meaning you as the owner benefits from ultimate luxury as well as the onlookers. Everything has been designed with space and comfort in mind so that you can fully enjoy your living quarters on a daily basis. Two very comfortable sofa areas accommodate for at least eight people to relax in a very sociable area with quick access to fold-away tables and drinks holders. These are accompanied by a kitchen that’s equipped with everything you’ll need – fridge freezer, oven, hot stoves, sink area, plenty of storage cupboards and drawers – all situated around a sleek bar area that adds a real touch of class. The cabin is surrounded by windows that allow as much light in as possible; reinforcing the modern feel of the boat. There’s a retractable sunroof that makes it feel even bigger inside too.

Below the deck, there are sleeping quarters of the highest quality. Two large double beds both with en-suite bathrooms and a further two cabins with three single beds and a bathroom between them. That means you’ll get more than enough space for six people plus a crew member.

Outside, you’ll find a spacious sundeck at the stern which allows bathing space for multiple people who fancy soaking up the light. This is also able to convert seamlessly to a launch system via a handy hydraulic mechanism; should you bring a personal watercraft with you.

Performance-wise, the V60 is powered by a V8 engine from MAN, capable of producing up to 1200 HP and speeds of 38 knots. That makes it very capable of exploring new locations with both speed and efficiency.
